Hide & restrict access to drives only for users, no AD!

Hi

In a Windows 2000 Terminal Server (in a workgroup) I need to hide and restrict access to drives in the server, only for users (no admins). There is no Active Directory

I know that "NoDrives" and "NoRun" values can be edited in the registry (at local machine level), but it affects to all users (admins included)

I tried it by creating a policy using poledit, but I cannot make it work

Does anybody know how could I hide drives and restrict access to them in a W2K TS in a workgroup

Any comment would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advancem

You might try using Group Policy - gpedit.msc to do such and then try to
filter local Group Policy after you are finished configuring everything by
giving the administrators group deny access to the \winnt\system32\group
policy\users folder as described in the link below. There is also KB link
procudure that you could also try. --- Steve
