Hide private records in outlook when syncing with palm

How do I hide password protected contacts when syncing
with palm tungsten c to outlook 2002? category "private"
shows as marked but records appear just as normal. Dell's
helpline is crap!

Never mind my previous reply -- I reread your subject line. Contacts marked
"Private" in Outlook aren't hidden from you. They're only hidden if you
share your folders with other users over a network and choose to hide
private items from those users. Who are you trying to hide these contacts
from? There may be another way...
