Hide formula

I am confused, if you hide the formula you hide the results of the formula.
If you are doing this to use the results for another computation, why not
incorporate your formula into the other formula? or just color the font
white?

Format>Cells...>Protection>Hidden and then protect the sheet will not show
the formula in the formula bar, but I suspect that's what you don't want.

You could turn off the formula bar via Tools>Options...>View>un-check
formula bar?
