Hide Duplicate Subreports

I have inserted a subreport in a report. Each subreport has multiple
records. I want to view all the records, but I do not want to see the
duplicate subreports for each record, only for the first record. When I view
the properties for the subreport, it does not give me the option to "Hide
Duplicates". I do not want to group by subreport because my subreport is too
long and will take up too much room because it forces the records to be on
the line BELOW it. I want the first record all to be on the same line as in
the EXAMPLE below.

THIS FIRST COLUMN IS THE SUBREPORT

The sub doesnt have hide duplicate, but each field does, so define it at the
field properties.

You mean the field properties in the table? I can't find that option to
hide duplicates in the field properties of the table? I did change the
"hide duplicates" field property to one of my fields in the subreport, but
that did not help.
