hide database window

I cannot get the database window to hide when the database starts up. When I
uncheck the database window in the startup options it only minimizes the
databse window upon startup. how can i hide it or can i hide it???

Do you have a switchboard form that opens at startup? Is there any code in
its Open, Load, Activate, or Current events (such as maximizing)?

Does commenting out the code, or opening the database without this form
solve the issue?
