How do I keep the Access Control Toolbox from appearing on my Access and Word
documents? My programmer left it in sight, and even he can't remember how to
hide it. Thank you! (My report is created in Access and transferred to
Word.)

Hi,
what do you mean with control toolbox?
Do you mean the toolbox you see in design view to select specific controls
from or do you mean the property window of controls?
The first mentioned should dissapear if you switch to form view...the second
you can actually set an option within the property window to only show it
when in design view ('allow design changes' under the other tab).
HTH
Good luck

Hi Korupp -- The Control Toolbox in Word can be removed by going to
View-->Toolbars-->Control Toolbox

In Access go to Tools-->Startup

I didn't follow the second part of your answer. The Control Toolbox does
carry over into the Word documents. I can delete it using the toolbar in
Word, but I don't want to have to do that every time a word document is
transferred from Access. This is my business program, so I need a simple way
to fix the problem without disturbing any other components of Access. Thanks!
