Hide Comments

My Excel ( Office 2000 ) was set up to automatically hide comments. Somehow
a setting got changed so that I now have manually hide each comment. Would
some kind soul please direct me to what I have to do to get it back as it
was.

needed. It had been irritating me for a couple of months.
