Hide an object

I would like to draw a shape ie a circle and use it as a guide only, is it
possible to format the circle to not print, as you can do with text

You can give it No Line and No Fill, but then you won't be able to see it. A
better solution is to insert the circle as a guide and then remove it when
you are done.
