Hidden MsgBox's

When writing about another problem I realize I've been meaning to ask about
something...

Periodically I have MsgBox's that appear "behind" the active windows. Since
they're modal, you can't click the OK, and the only way to fix the problem is
to force quit and restart.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Or have any advice on how to avoid it?

I've seen that in certain commercial applications but not in Access.
Just curious, what Access version?

IIRC I've gotten around this (as a user) by minimizing everything using
Window+D shortcut, then click the application's button in the task bar.
This usually puts the MsgBox on top.

2003 I believe, we have a bit of mixed network here.

And it _sometimes_ works here too, but not always.
