That's not surprising, since there is no single "hidden files" to open.
You *can* go into an Explorer window, choose Tools, Folder Options, View,
and turn on 'show hidden files and folders', then click Apply/OK back to the
desktop. That should allow you to see the files you want, and some you
don't.
