hidden documents and settings

Whilst searching for a document that did not show up, I foolishly ticked
the "hidden" box in the "properties box thinking it might show hidden
files. Instead it hid documents and settings which has lost me "My
documents", program list etc. How can I reverse as i obviously cannot
now see the properties box. I feel a bit daft.

Hi,
Open My Computer (or almost any other folder) In the Windows Explorer
toolbar go to Tools> Folder Options> View. Tick the "Show hidden files and
folders option." Go back and unhide C:\Documents and settings.
