Hibernation

We just had WinXP put in my husband's laptop computer (he had Win98), and
I've set the power option for "Never" as far as hibernation, and yet it goes
into hibernation anyhow when it's left alone for a few minutes. Also, I've
set it for Windows Classic, and it reverts to WIndows Classic Modified.
 
Sorry, I just realized it's not Hibernation, it's the screen saver. But I
still could use an answer to the Windows Classic situation.
