Hibernation status screens

I have all of the registry settings included to suppress nearly all
status messages, pop-up baloons, etc., and all of that works as it
should. The one that I have not yet been able to figure out is how to
suppress the status messages that appear as the system goes into and
returns from hibernation mode. The DisableStatusMessages registry
entry was mentioned in another post; it suppresses the logon/logoff
messages, but not the hibernation status messages.

Ideally, it would be nice to be able to replace the hibernation status
splash screens with my own, similar to what can be done during a cold
boot using the "/noguiboot /bootlogo" flags in boot.ini, but at a
minimum I would just like to suppress the hibernation status messages.
Any clues offered could be helpful.

Thanks Bing, but I believe that the Windows splash screen which
appears as the system goes into hibernation is a result of the
operating system, not the BIOS. The BIOS has it's own splash screen
and I am able to suppress it in the BIOS settings. I've never seen or
heard about any settings in the BIOS that would tell the operating
system to show or hide its splash screens. As far as I know, OS splash
screens are handled by the OS, unless I am mistaken.

I'm still open to any other suggestions that anyone has to offer.

It looks like I was mistaken.

From what I've read so far, the Simple Boot Flag looks like a good
feature that can also be used to optimize boot performance. Of course,
I'll have to look into whether or not my BIOS can support this feature
and make sure that swapping the boot loader doesn't break something
else, but it does provide some hope.
