Hibernation problems

Hi All

I used to be able to do hibernation instead of shut down. Since then I have
done many Windoz updates.

When I do a hibernation now and restart the white progress bars show across
the bottom of the screen and when they get to end the
computer hangs just showing this white progress bar as completed. I have to
press reset to do a full restart.

Have you any ideas if an update or setting has caused this to stop working?

FYR, I'm running WinXP SP2 (all web updates as of today) machine and the
rest of it seems to be working fine. Just this hiber thing is giving me
jip.

Any help you can give would be very much appreciated.

Incidentally, I've tried the delete hibersys file and reboot, but it does
not cure the hibernation problem. Any other ideas as it used to work
before.
