Hibernation how?

How can i put my laptop on hibernation
As there is no option for it in power control panel?

earlier is used this option in windows xp by pressing shift key and
my stand button gets turned into hibernation button

Control Panel/Power Options/Edit Plan Settings/Change Advanced Power
Settings

You should be able to assign the hibernate function to an action, such as
closing the lid of the laptop, etc.
