Hibernate tab missing from Power Options

I used to have a Hibernate tab in the Power Options applet in the Control
Panel. Then one day it disappeared. After some research I learned that
hibernation is considered incompatible with Terminal Services. I disabled the
TermService service, rebooted, and found the missing Hibernate tab had been
restored. However, the Hibernate tab has again disappeared. I checked to see
if somehow TermService had been reënabled, but it had not. Can anyone help me
out? Thanks very much.

Uh, never mind for now. A further search reveals that's it's probably due to
the fact that I am temporarily using the Windows generic VGA drivers, which
would apparently also cause the Standy option to be unavailable, whcih is in
fact the case.
