Hibernate breaks fax

Hi,

I noted an annoying problem with the fax component. Regularly, the fax
component breaks. For example, if I rightclick the Fax Icon and ask for
properties, I takes a while and I get a message stating that "connexion to
printer-fax failed, check connection". When I hit OK, I am told that the
"Microsoft Shared fax Driver" is not installed... It is installed ! To repair
the fax installation, I have to go to Install/Remove programs, Windows
Components, remove the fax component and reinstall. Then it woks for a while,
an hour or a day and fails again.

I am not 100% shure, but it looks like it fails after I use hibernate mode.
Then Fax goes bananas.

Hardware and Software:

Dell Dimension 3000, P4, 512M RAM
Conexant D850 56K V9.x DFVc Modem
Win XP Home, SP2 and all the latest corrections

Does someone has a clue to this ?

Thanks

Don't hibernate for a week and see if the fax continues not to have
problems.
