Hewlett Packard Deskjet722C problems

I have a hP722C printer that will not work since I
installed Windows HP home. It does not give an error
message but stops before the documment is complete. The
printing seems to fade out before it stops. It is
conected through a parallel port. I have verified that
the driver is correct.
