Hewlett-Packard 890 c prints crooked

I've searched this newsgroup for "crooked and couldn't find any
messages.

My Hewlett-Packard 890 c prints slightly crooked. I have looked at it
and I don't see any way to adjust the print path.

Does anyone know of any adjustment that I could use to correct this?

I had an 890c for many years, and yes many have posted about its paper
skew problem. I found that loading more paper = more crooked. I
perused this ng during those many years and I never saw a permanent
fix for it, and in fact there were quite a few other posts about the
same problem with other later HP ink jets.
