Hi. I keep getting Internet explorer script error line 15. It pops up every
time i go on line, and asks me if i want to keep running script. I can say
yes, no or the cross. Either way things carry on as normal but I am fed up
with it all the time. I think it is to do with something called Moviepass,
which is some movie access thing I did NOT request. I have deleted all
cookies temp files etc, but it keeps on. Any help appreciated very much, but
written explanations please in idiot proof style (as opposed to just saying
'visit this website ... the end'. Thanks a lot

Moviepass is really nasty malware. That is why you are getting errors -
your computer is infested.

Go through these general malware removal steps systematically -
http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware

Make sure you do all the preparatory work first. You may even need t run
HijackThis and post your log to one of the forums linked at the above
site (not here, please).

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local version of BigStoreUSA).

Hi Cyberleader,
First you need to uninstall the *Moviepass* Trail application from your
Computer, then do a scan for Malware/Grayware may be this *Pass* install
atracker on your susytem to bug you and you give up to them and install/buy
the Movie?.
When all sure clean and there are no Traces for the *MoviePass*, go to the
IE Properties and Click on Advanced Tab and Scroll under Browsing Option and
untick the following:
[ ] Disable Debugging (other)
[ ] Display Notification about every script
Clear your caches and Click OK to confirm your Settings.
Reboot and try to Connect and see if the Issue go away.
Hope this helps

That's referring to a line in the HTML page you're trying to display.
I'd guess that the error is in the home page you (or something you've
installed) has designated.

Have you tried changing the home page in Internet Options?

Hi there,

As Nass told along with the steps in Internet Options "Advanced" Tab uncheck
an option that says "Enable third party browser extension" and hit Apply.
From the way you notified about the problem you have it luks like an issue
with spyware or malware which might have got installed without your
permission, for which you need to do some few scans.
Online Anti-spyware scan -> http://www.trendmicro.com/spyware-scan/
Adware scan -> http://lavasoft.com/ ( Scroll to the bottom of the page and
you would find the link for the free download of the utility)
Anti-Hijacker tool ->
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popup-Ad-Spyware-Blockers/HijackThis.shtml

Though it luks like "more steps to be done...", this will help you now and
also in future if u wer to encounter a similar kind'a problem.
