HELPSVC.EXE

For no reason, since I'm not using Windows Help, HELPSVC.exe is using 90%+
of my CPU.
Does anyone know the cause of this and can this exe be removed without
causing malfunction of my system?
Any help on this subject would be welcome

Have you tried putting HELPSVC.exe in a search engine? The first results
listed matched your problem. Rather that repost what is there I'm sure you
can find and read them easily enough.

Should your computer begin to smoke from being overworked/heated you can
always use the "NOSMOKE.EXE" comand at the comand line but make sure your
version of windows is compatible first by calling Microsoft's 800 # with your
product key and then make sure your hardware is compatible by calling the
maker. Good luck!

Seriously tho, the HELPSVC.EXE problem is comon.
