I have Windows XP installed on my home computer and would like to add power point presentatiion only. I have a Office 2000 4 disk package, adn would like to add only power point to the already xp program currently installed

Insert Office 2000 CD 1 and tell it to install only PowerPoint.

Windows XP doesn't contain any Office programs. There are some versions of
Office 2000 that did not include PowerPoint. However, if you put the CD in
and select "Custom" install, you can verify that PowerPoint is in the list
of choices and either pick just PowerPoint, or you can install all of the
available applications.
