How can I save traks from an audio cd to my hard drive?

The EASIEST way is to use CDex. Pop in the disc, let it connect to the FreeDB
to fetch the track names, and click the "Extra CD tracks to compressed audio
files" button. It will also convert audio files from one format to another and
record from the line in jack. Bet of all, it's FREE at
http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/
