Automatic Updates has started to download xp sp2 but i dont want to get sp2
by Au because i have dial-up i have the sp2 cd and wish to use it to download
sp2 is there a way to cancle the update that has started to download from Au
or will the sp2 cd cancle it out ?

When it has finished downloading and asks you if you want
to install the update, say no.

Did you know that you could order a "free" CD that conatins SP2? MS would
ship it to free of charge.

Also, several magazines have had the SP2 update files placed onto their
included CD disc.

The O.P. says they have the SP2 CD that's why they want to stop the SP2 download
from WindowsUpdate......
