Hi, I have a relatively large excel spreadsheet (approx 350MB) which
has many formulas and modules.

Yesterday I ran a macro which colours the top three cells in each
group of numbers. I am doing this acoss 12 columns and it normally
takes five minutes for the macro to run.

However, I am running the exact same macro today and it is taking over
an hour !!! Is there any reason for this or can anyone suggest how I
resolve this. Essentailly if I cannot get it to run in the normal
timeframe it virtually makes the whole spreadsheet pointless.

Thanks Claus, I will email it to you. It has been working absolutely
fine until yesterday when coincidentally I installed some backup
software and sync software and I am wondering if that has affected it
somehow.
