monique

When I turn on my computer, at the bottom of the screen
on the left side C:\WINDOWS\odbc.hta pops up. Why is
that? and what can I do about it? Thank You

It looks like your computer has been hijacked ny spyware.
Follow this procedure to get things back under control.

Download, install, UPDATE, and run:
Ad-Aware 6.0
Spybot Search & Destroy
SpywareGuard
(Make sure to use the update feature of these programs
often.)


Download UPDATE and run:
CWShredder

Before running these, do the following:

Delete temp internet files and history.


Turn off system Restore.

When finished,
Turn system Restore back on.

It will be easy for you to find the above programs, they
are very popular. Hope this helps.
