I need urgent help before I end up with a stiff neck my daughter has done
something to the computer and I dont know how to get it all back.

The Desktop and toolbar etc have been changed they read as though the left
side of the screen was the top and the right hand side as the bottom how do I
get this back to normal, I have tried everything I can think of apart from
turning my screen 90 degress.

Please can someone assist.

Right-click on the desktop, select Properties from the menu that
appears. Click the Settings tab in the Display Properties dialog box,
click the Advanced button. Click the Rotation tab in the Monitor
Properties dialog. Select the proper rotation - should be Standard
landscape or 0 degrees.

The screen will rotate, click yes to confirm or no to go back. Once it
is the way you want it, click OK, OK.

Get a neck massage. ;)

Thanks for that but I havent got a rotation tab in there, any more
suggestions before my neck sticks in place ;)

There has to be some option in the Display Properties or the graphics card
driver for rotating the screen.

We had a couple folks at work that used to do this as a practical joke (they
would invert to 180 degrees). We had a search around the computer a bit to
find the option for screen rotation, but it is there.

I found it, I right clicked on desktop then graphic options then grapic
properties the rotation tab is in there or the shortcut is ctrl alt and the
arrow keys.
