HELP Word 07 TR crashes on XML files

I am trying to load XML files in to Word 07 B2, and attach schemas and a
transform. This worked in Word 03, but when I tried to view the Structure
pane in 07, it crashed Word. The error message said the Technical Refresh
would fix the problem, so I spent all night downloading and installing the
TR. Although it briefly opened the XML file and attached the transform &
showed me both views, and I briefly got the structure pane to display and
show me the menu of tags to insert, it then crashed and now I can't attach
the transform (using the old, or new files) OR view the structure pane; all
my XML files crash the program. I'm dead in the water with XML authoring. I
ran the diagnostics and there are no issues. What next.

Thanks, Theano

How huge is this schema? Can you copy/paste it into your reply so that we can
test it? The official beta is over, but if I can replicate a crash I can
forward the problem to someone...
