Help with Word as email editor

Uncle Vinnie

Hi..

Quickly, my old went, so I got a new one (XP media), using Office 2000.

The install went smoothly, all the updates are installed...

For some odd reason, it is unable to launch Word for my email editor...
(Word is busy or not available, using Outlook mail editor instead.. etc...)

Can someone help me with this.. I prefer Word, and have signatures I like to
use as well...

Thank you!

Have you applied all service packs and patches?

Hi, Milly...

I did a clean install (Office Business as well as Office Pro Upgrade).

As far as everything else, I went to the Office 2000 updates site and
applied everything until there were no other updates...

Patches, I can check to see.. all I added outside of the updates are
sounds...

Lemme go back and poke around...

Fixed...

Seems the problem had to do with the pre-installed trial verison of Office
2003. I uninstalled it, ran my Outlook 2000, got unexpected errors, ran the
repair utility, and all seems fine...(I hope, fingers crossed...)

Thanks Milly!
