Help with Outlook 2002 Installation

Hi

Can anyone offer advice??

I run Office Premium 2000 to run my business. I maintain
records in a database created using Microsoft Access and I
use mail merge documents, created within Microsoft Word,
to extact information from my database to create
documents, (e.g. invoices).

Up tp now I have not had any trouble and previously my
keyboard commands for my documents to be generated have
met with instant response.

Last week I purchased an in car satellite navigation
system and I was instructed to install the software on my
PC. - In effet, this meant installing Microsoft Outlook
2002.

Since I upgraded Outlook I find that my keyboard commands
from within Word, (e.g. telling it to retrieve data from
my Access records and produce my invoices), now runs very
slowly. - It gets there in the end but what was previously
done in an instant now takes about 2 minutes.

My local computer repairer tells me the problem is
probably due to some kind of incompatibility between
Office Premium 2000 and Outlook 2002. - Anyone know what
it might be and how I can fix it? - I've serached the
Microsoft Office site on MSN but can't find anything that
relates to it.

Cheers

In order to do a successful mail merge, the versions of Word and Outlook
must match. (I don't know whether or not Access would have to be the same
version...probably not since it's just the data source, but I could be
wrong.)
