Help with Operations Master among other things...

About a year ago our PDC crashed. We immediately setup DNS and DHCP on
another server and thought everything was okay. Well today I was looking
around and found that when right clicking on the domain in active directory
and looking through RID, PDC, and Infrastructure that our old PDC is still
listed as all of these things. Well the old PDC is long gone. (scrap yard).
How do I get our current (what we thought was the PDC) to be listed as the
PDC?

You will need to sieze the role on the running DC.

This can be done with NTDSUTIL:

NTDSUTIL ROLES SEIZE PDC
