My computer (WinXP Pro SP2) has two physically separate harddrives (C and
D).
D-drive is Maxtor 250 MB HD. Everything worked fine until I returned from
a short vacation.
When I booted my computer, I saw drive letter D but its subfolders were not
visible.
When I clicked D-drive, it prompted "D:\ is not accessible".
I have no clue why this is happening. I tried "IDE driver diganostics"
(proved by Dell). Both C and D drives passed.
Could someone give me some tips how to opene/access D-drives? TIA.
Craig

Try going to Start>run and type in diskmgmt.msc
Make sure the D drive is pointed to your drive and not to a CD/DVD drive.
Make sure Disk Management can see the drive.

Yes. I checked that last night. I saw the Drive.
Drive letter D is also seen in explorer too.
Regards, Craig
