Help with MOS PowerPoint certification question?

I am currently going after my MOS for 2003...I am working on Power Point 2003
and I am stumped. I have taken the study exam and practice exams and there
is a question in there that deals with media clips and inserting them and
adding a sound. I have taken these practice exams on different computers and
get the same result. When I go to insert the object, there is supposed to be
a "Media Clip" list and I do not have it. Is there a way I can find a quick
fix for this so while I am practicing for this certification I can get the
darn question right.

Please Help.

Thanks

You know, we've run into this before where there *is* no "media clip" option
on the Insert Object menu. I've no idea how to fix it, though, and it
frustrates me that none of the places giving this "tip" (including the
Microsoft site) tell you what to do if you *don't* have that option
available.

I also think Insert|Movies and Sounds|From File should be allowed as a
correct answer, but I'm sure the exams aren't that flexible. Don't get me
going on that subject!

I know that doesn't help you, but I wanted you to know you're not dreaming.
[And I wanted to rant a little about a couple of my pet peeves. :) ]
Hopefully someone else will be more helpful than I've been able to here.

Thank You Echo...I am soo happy that someone out there agrees with me. I
have a call into Certiport to see what will happen if this happens when I
take the real test. Thank You for responding back.

I don't have anything to do with MOS but maybe Echo will confirm that
this is the correct answer.
1. Insert + Picture + ClipArt
2. You will get the Clip Art Pane, where you can specify file name or
*.* or *.ext (where ext is the file extension you want to filter by,
e.g. avi). You can also Search In (limit search to various folders).
You can also filter on Media Types, e.g. Movies.
3. Clip the image you want and it will insert into PPT and ask you if
you want to play it on click or automatically.

That works just fine and based on an interpretation of the MS Help
file on Insert Clip Art (Find and Insert Clip)

See if that gets you a correct answer.

Personally, Brian, I'd say that's a perfectly valid answer. But I think the
MOS is looking for Insert|Object and choose Media Clip in the list. Problem
is, nobody seems to know what to do if "media clip" isn't in the
Insert|Object list!
