help with loosing minimised pages

I am using windows xp pro.
For some reason, when I try to minimise , more than one web page to the task
bar, as soon as I minimise the second page, the first page dissapears. for
example if i am shopping for somthing, and want to compare prices from
different sites, I try to save the web pages to the task bar, but each time i
minimise a page, the previouse one disapears from the task bar. Most
frustrating as I have to write all the information down for each page !
I used to be able to minimise several pages and look at them as I wanted to,
so I imagine I have inadvertantly changed a setting somewhere, but I dont
know where !
Can anyone help please ?
 
Assuming you are using IE....

Have you tried this?
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"

If that is not the problem, then perhaps it is a toolbar you have
added?
Try removing extra toolbars, in particular, the Yahoo toolbar.

Same thing happens when you use Firefox?
