Help with Java

Maureen

I am running XP and IE 6.0. I just got this machine back
up on line this past weekend and have discovered that
when I try to run something requiring JAVA, I get a
message that says the browser does not support JAVA. I
haven't been able to find any place to enable JAVA under
tools in IE.

Thanks

go to tool, internet options, advanced, scroll down to
java vm, you should have the last one checked the JIT
complier for virtual machine enabled. if that dont work
then you will need to reinstall java. i have heard that
msn no longer has that avalible so you will have to go to
sun and get a new one
here is where i got mine if you need to get one

Understand that because of a court decision Microsoft will stop all Java
support after 30 SEP 04.
