Help with formula entry please..

Firstly let me say a huge thanks to the guys that helped
me here a few weeks ago .. as a new user of excel I was
totally stunned at the results of your help!!

But please tell me now that I have completed the sheets
with the functions =Sheet1!blah blah blah .. now when I
got to make an adjustment as soon as I hit enter it opens
a "update blah blah" page - What did I do to cause this?

Any thoughts would be hugely appreciated -

you may have entered a sheet reference to a sheet which does not exist
in your workbook. Please post the complete formula which gives you this
error and state the full error text

Hi Sara,
too many blah blah, what does the message say. If you mean when you are
exiting Excel and update dialog comes up then ....
you probably have used DATE or other volatile function.
