Help with copy and paste

Hello: I am trying to copy text from my yahoo email and paste it into a word
document, something I have done for many, many years. But now, on both my
desktop and laptop whenever I try to copy from my email and paste into word
doc it freezes word up, every single time. Is anyone else having this
problem or does anyone know of a fix for the problem. Any help is
appreciated.
 
When pasting, try using Edit | Paste Special | Paste as:
Unformatted text.
