I want to create a procedure that will cause something to happen (open a
message box, or run a macro) if the user presses a certain key (like Esc, F1,
or Alt D) during a slideshow (regardless of where the mouse is or what object
has the focus).

How do I set up the procedure so that it will just run on the current slide
and how would I set it up to run on any slide in the slide show?

Thanks,
sjw

Chirag, one of the MS MVP's seems to have covered this in an addin.
Check it out at http://officeone.mvps.org/index.html. you might have
to do a little digging, but not much.

We all think Chirag's stuff is well tested and works as promised. Just
depends on if it does what you want. In this case I should think it
would.
