Help with cd

Someone burned some cd's for a friend of mine. However when he puts them into
his cd player in his car it ejects it right away. When I insert the cd into
my computer and browse to it I see all the tracks, example "Track05.cda"
what is cda that doesn't look normal. Can anyone help to get these to play in
a cd player.

..Cda's aren't the actual song content, but more like an index or menu
that points to the content. Works like a File Allocation Table of MFT
on an NTFS formatted drive.
Hard to speculate on why it won't play - Was it a direct Disk-to-Disk
copy or something created from source material ?
The RIAA is always working on new Encryption and playback blocks.
Perhaps the disk contains some form of Copyright protection.

Have you tried the disc in another player? Is the disc a CD-R/W or a CD-R?
The majority of audio cd players cannot read CD-R/W discs hence one should
also burn audio discs to CD-R unless your player supports CD-R/W.
