Help with bullets and numbeing - unwanted space

When inserting the Bullets and Numbering option, there is a space
created between the text and the list itself. Is there a way to avoid
this without using table rows?

Example below.

The two options are:

1. Work 10 hours on December 23 and maintain our current schedule.
2. Work 11 hours on December 21 and 22 to make up for the engine loss.

Might be able to control this via CSS, otherwise you will have to use tables and manually insert
your bullets or numbers.
