Help with "authorized activex control"

I have an uneasy feeling here.....

I am using a form to create a date range for an Access report. When I run
the report, I enter the dates, then press my OK button. The method I use is
pasted from the Access help file.

When I press the OK button, I immediately see an error screen that tells me
that "I don't have the license required to use this ActiveX control." and
tells me to contact the company that provides the license for the OLE object
or ActiveX control.

As I stated before, I set up the forms, macros, etc. just as Access Help
offered as an example.

Any idea what control is causing this error and why I don't have a license
for it?? My Access came with the new computer I purchased not long ago....
