Help with a Form/Automation

Hello,

I have a document with text form fields in which a user can enter
text. I would like to automate this doc to pre-populate certain
fields, e.g., if text1 is not null then text2 = text1 else text2 = "".

I can't seem to find the answer in any help file. Does anyone have a
suggestion?

I'm thinking the answer might require a macro(s) or some VBA!
