Help with a Bulletin Board

Good Morning,

I am in charge of a small bulletin board. Probably 50 - 75 ladies. We are
rapidly growing and I envision soon reaching 500. We average 50 - 100 posts
per week at this point, so that number would increase like wise.

I am new to bulletin boards and need a little bit of guidance on size
managability for the users. Any advise or tutorial books or ANYTHING would
be greatly appriciated. Some of these ladies are still on dial up so
download speed is critical.
