Help! Windows XP won't boot

I installed Windows XP Home onto one machine a couple days ago.
Everything worked fine at that time. But today when I tried to boot
that machine, it could not find the boot device at first. I placed the
Windows XP Home CD into the CD Drive, then it would go into the
Windows welcome screen, but suddenly it reboot and went back to BIOS
screen.

Btw, I tried to install Windows Server 2003 on the same machine using
a SCSI RAID card and SCSI drives. Later I changed my mind and removed
the SCSI card and drives, but Windows Server 2003 is still showing in
the boot menu. I don't know if this affects anything or not.

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks.

I suspect that your server installation interfered with your WinXP
Home installation. Since it's just two days old, I would start with
a fresh installation onto a newly formatted hard disk.
