HELP! Windows Media Player 10

I upgraded to WMP 10, and everything was great until all
of sudden it stopped working.

Now, i get a message "windows media player did not
install successfully, must re-install"
So when I re-download it from the microsoft website, I
then get this message "windows media player did not
install successfully, restart setup."

I have tried re-downloading it over and over.

Any help would be great.
