HELP!! When completing windows mail set up...

i get this message...

Account: 'pop.cox.net', Server: 'pop.west.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

I did everything in the set up as asked, but it just won't work.

What next?

Well. Your username should probably be just the name and not
(e-mail address removed), but some systems can require it either way so check
that - the case usually doesn't matter, then make sure your password
they gave you is typed in the right case - I don't know Cox's usual
format but for passwords PASSword is not the same as password.

pop.west.cox.net looks valid, but if you continue having trouble the
only thing you can really do is call them.

Usually tech support can't discuss passwords, they just reset it and the
system sends you a new one.

See if you followed these instructions, including the part about finding
the correct server names for your part of cox.net.
