A
alex
I have a problem with a screen that keeps popping up
everytime I access the internet. A black screen with the
title 'c:\ docum-1\tim\locals-1\temp\surfai-1.exe' comes
up with a cursor key jumping all over the screen. This
only happens when I am on the internet and when I go to
close the window it says that the program may not have
finished what it is doing. Anyway I can close this down
and it goes.
Related to this is the fact that everytime this window
pops up a huge document gets sent to my printer and if I
turn the printer on it just reels out pages and pages of
blank paper. I can cancel this print documents but it
takes a long time.
My internet connection keeps dropping and this has only
happened since this screen has been coming up. The
connection drops about every 2 minutes which as you might
imagine, is infuriating! The message bar at the bottom
of the page comes up with C:\WINDOWS\system32
\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.html
Anyway I have run virus checks and checked the hard disk
but nothing appears to be wrong so I am lost as to what
to do about it.
Perhaps you have some suggestions and would get back to
me asap.
Thanks
