Dan

Hello,
I'm currently having problems with my computer. I'm guessing
its the video card. Can someone take a look at the pictures I took at:
http://home.earthlink.net/~danblanco/ Under the link Issue #1.

What happens mostly while playing graphic intense video games UT2003,
Q2 etc... the screen will just jump to this crap and I can't do
anything. I then have to hit reset but the graphics are still messed
up when the computer reboots. I have to shut down the power and then
the graphics are back to normal.

Any suggestions? Please.
Thanks,
Dan

I had a similar problem with a AIW8500DV on an Asus A7V333 mobo.
Soon as I tried anything involving 3-D (games) all I would get were
those vertical lines. Took it to the shop, they tried the videocard
in another computer and it worked fine. In the end they changed the
motherboard. 3 months later the same problem, they ended up changing
the motherboard. 3 months later same problem, I went and bought a
Gigabyte GA-7VAXP and no problems.

so it isnt necessarily the video card...
