I've got a very serious problem.

I used to have a linux partition in partition 2 & 3. Windows parition in
partition 1, 5, 6. I started running on low disk space so I deleted my 2
linux partitions (boot+swap) under Windows XP (using Disk Management). Then
I created a windows parition in the place where the linux one used to be.

Something is wrong. Why is Disk Management saying that I got 210GB HD when I
am sure it's meant to be 120GB HD? Anyway, I just let it create the
paritition. Am still baffled though by this doubling in HD size..

Today I am copying some MP3s from parition 5 into this new windows partition
(partition 2).

Now, in parition 5 I have come across many of my MP3s have been changed.
File name looks same but it's the contents of the MP3s. They've totally
changed!!! They are MP3s of my other MP3 songs?!?! What is going on?! Is it
a virus? Help!

"Totally changed", what are they now? If they are MP3s, the drive you have
copied them to may have saved them compressed. Check the partition
properties.

Nope, the new drive is not compressed. Nor is my other original drives. None
of them are compressed (it's all off).

The mp3s lets say, Smile.sk - All alone.mp3 has Linkin Park music in the
file now.. and similar effects to other mp3s.

And now many of my graphic jpgs are corrupted, aswell as many EXEs.
