IS THERE A WAY TO UNISTALL A PROGRAM THAT DOESN'T APPEAR IN THE "ADD OR
REMOVE PROGRAM LIST" ON THE CONTROL PANEL? THE PROGRAM IS RUNNING

databaseben,
Thanks for your help but.... the program i trying to unistall doesn't apear
in the list of "installed programs" on the "Windows Install clean up" program
i just downloaded
any other ideas?
Andres

i forgot to mention that some programs do not have an unistaller. So simply
deleting its folder then doing a registry cleanup to remove the orphans will
work just as well. The dll's will still be in the system folder but this
will not be a problem. If the program is running then you should kill the
process, otherwise some files in the folder won't allow you to delete. If
you do not know how to kill a process or know which one it is, then delete
the folder of your unwanted program via safe mode.....

Try looking in the program's folder, if there is an uninstaller. The
entries in Add/Remove Programs are merely links to the programs' own
uninstallers.

Or, if you still have the installation file, try re-installing the program
and see if the uninstaller gets copied to Add/Remove Programs.
